Efficient Space initiates Chapter I of its 10th anniversary series with a heavy live/club lineup at Miscellania on Friday 30 January.
Low-key supergroup Th Blisks roll in with their mutant strain of sideways ambient ritual, fog-thick melodica dub and paranoid industrial trip-hop for their long-awaited Naarm debut, perfectly timed with Efficient Space’s repress of their elusive 2023 LP How So?. Live support comes from atmospheric pop luminaries Hydroplane, fresh from their crowning comeback album A Place Is Where.... alongside the ethereal mystery of Sina.
From midnight, the room flips into club mode as local hero Bayu goes B2B for three hours with Sconce (fka Instant Peterson), who is lining up a soon-to-be-unveiled 2LP of net-label electronica.
