For those who were there to witness Phara for the first time at Solace, you know how special of a Live set he brings. This time we've paired him with Olivia Mendez to really make sure we blow the roof off.

A record proxenete, dealing grooves across territories her unique sound can reach. Strongly influenced by the sounds of Senegalese drums as a child, both as a percussionist and dancer, she eventually fell in love with the post modern aesthetics embedded in Detroit’s industrial landscapes. From Brooklyn to Kiev, she has been queering consciousness through her roaring, pulsing, sonorous soundscapes.

Phara spins an intricate, contemporary take on techno while never losing touch with the genre's essence. Influenced by the pioneering sounds of Detroit, Berlin and the UK, as well as post-punk, wave, EBM and electro, he makes compelling, highly personal tracks that ooze energy. his live show, takes the Korg EMX-1 - a machine he knows inside and out - from the studio to the main stage. Showing a whole lot can be done with little, these performances adequately represent Phara's approach

Accessibility:
Solace is located down a flat, mostly sealed alleyway. There is a single step leading through the 110cm wide entrance door, which leads to the ground level listening bar. There are no further steps to access this bar, however there are no bathrooms. There are two flights of 25-step stairs leading up the LV1, gender-neutral bathrooms and chillout area. Following another two flights of 25-step stairs is the club level. Unfortunately, aside from the staircase, there are no alternate ways of accessing all levels.
