Sit Like a Lady, den sou eipan? is a physical duet that explores how women's bodies are shaped, corrected and controlled in public space — and what happens when they stop obeying.

Through sharp shifts between hyper-femininity and grounded resistance, the two performers move between tension and release, control and collapse. Posture becomes choreography.
Correction becomes rhythm. Breath becomes sound.

The piece focuses on raw physical states rather than narrative, exposing how learned gestures, social rules and fear live in the body — and how they can be unlearned through movement.

Dynamic, instinctive and confrontational, the duet turns discipline into disruption and reclaims space through presence, weight and repetition.

Following the performance, the atmosphere shifts. Our musician takes the floor with a DJ set, inviting everyone to stay, breathe out, connect, and move freely in the space. The evening becomes a shared environment — a place to dance, to process, to celebrate, to take up space together without apology.
