Family Matters is the brainchild of two brothers from Barcelona, Daniel (D.Bird) and Carlos (Bronson), who
share an uncanny, almost twin connection through music.
Their sets are a masterful blend of ‘90s golden-era grooves and cutting-edge sounds,
weaving seamlessly between downtempo, breaks, deep house, electro, acid, and limitless
UK rave influences. It’s more than just music—it’s a celebration of moments past and
present, wrapped in their unmistakable energy.
In 2012 they began their journey organizing events with their own collective between Barcelona and
Lausanne, blending visual arts and music.
Later, they focused their efforts on producing parties at renowned Barcelona clubs such as Razzmatazz,
Macarena, Laut, and Red58, collaborating with both local and international talents, they created synergies
with other collectives, sharing music in a uniquely connected way with the audience.
From legendary spaces like Griessmühle, Chalet, Le Sucre, Badaboum, and La Terrrazza to
top-tier events like Soundit or DROP, Family Matters have shared their passion on some of
the most influential stages. Along the way, they’ve performed alongside a stellar lineup of
artists, including John Talabot, Chaos in CBD, Bradley Zero, Bambounou,Luke Solomon, Luca Lozano, Mr. Ho, Franck
Roger, Baldo, and many others.
For Daniel and Carlos, music isn’t just a craft—it’s a shared language that resonates deeply
