第5回 文字とクラブ

"Letters and Clubs," an installation club event that attempts to express club culture through text, will be held at Kyoto's Club Metro on the evening of Saturday, January 17th. It also focuses on the commonality between the appropriate arrangement of text (typography) and the appropriate arrangement of music and sound. It attempts to clearly communicate the non-verbal spirit of a club to visitors using text.
The theme of this event is "summarization." It attempts to compile the fragmented text, music, performers, and dance floor into a single context: book, DJ, night, and club. The text is put together to make a book. The songs are put together to make a DJ. The performers are put together to connect the night. The dance floor is put together to make a single space: the club.

文字によるクラブカルチャーの表現を試みるインスタレーション・クラブイベント「文字とクラブ」が1/17(土)夜、京都Club Metroにて開催。文字を適切に配列すること（タイポグラフィ）と、曲・音を適切に配列することとの共通性にも着目。クラブが持つ非言語的な趣旨を、文字を使って来場者に明確に伝えることに挑戦する。
今回のテーマは「まとめる」。断片的に散りばめられていた文字・曲・出演者・フロアを、本・DJ・一晩・クラブで1本の文脈にまとめていくことを試みる。文字をまとめて本にする。曲をまとめてDJをする。出演者をまとめて一晩を繋ぐ。フロアをまとめてクラブという1つの空間にする。
