KUMARU presents JAHTARI 20th years anniversary Japan tour

Since the 2000s, the prestigious German label JAHTARI has been influential across genres with its unique chiptune-inspired digital dub/reggae style. The first Kyoto performance by DISRUPT, the label's founder, and flagship artist KiKi Hitomi has finally come true!

To celebrate JAHTARI's 20th anniversary, KUMARU Records, founded by MeNeM (aka ShabuShabu) and MeltTheDawn (aka Mabo ThaiDisco), who recently released a 7-inch, has organized a gathering of unique artists from across Japan at Kyoto METRO.

One of the highlights will be a special session featuring Yoko Higashino, leader of Kyoto's Antibodies Collective, and KiKi Hitomi, who also displays her avant-garde musicality at WAQWAQ Kingdom. Expect a one-of-a-kind chemistry.

Also coming to Kyoto will be ELEMENT, who has toured internationally with his unique dub works, and Mikuru Huangkura, who has been garnering attention for his shocking performances. A spectacular lineup of unique artists from the Kansai region will be brought together, spanning genres and regions. Don't miss this festive night, fitting for the start of 2026!
