maximalism returns for its fifth edition on January 29th, after two well-received nights that brought together 30+ music lovers each time in the heart of Osaka.

This intimate but high-quality party is held at rake?raka?, a tiny underground DJ bar equipped with a powerful Funktion One system. Known for its dedication to adventurous programming, rake?raka? has hosted the long-running DEAR MONDAY series for over five years—even through the pandemic.

Curated by ALTF4, a Tokyo–Osaka-based DJ and organizer who recently played the Tokyo show of VMO (Violent Magic Orchestra), this party explores the bleeding edge of techno and trance. Expect a high-intensity, emotionally rich set that weaves ambient, minimal techno, deconstructed club, and deep trance.

This time, ALTF4 is joined by:
・HSC – The mastermind behind DEAR MONDAY, known for his shadowy, physical DJ sets that push the limits of underground dance music.
・WÖNDER GIRL – A DJ/singer and organizer from Osaka Prefecture. Since 2018, she has been active in a wide range of venues, including clubs, bars, lounges, and outdoor venues, mainly in Osaka and Tokyo.
Her unique style is characterized by a futuristic sound and bass music at its core.
This is her first appearance at maxmalism.

With a boundary-pushing lineup and a close-knit, music-loving crowd, maximalism continues to carve out its unique space in Osaka’s underground scene.

maximalismは、これまでに5回開催され、毎回30人以上の音楽好きが集まった好評な夜を経て、12月4日に第5回を迎えます。
会場は今回も大阪・心斎橋のアンダーグラウンドDJバー rake?raka?。小規模ながら高音質なFunktion Oneサウンドシステムを備え、ディープな音楽体験を提供する良質なヴェニューです。パンデミック以前から5年以上続く伝説的な月曜パーティー「DEAR MONDAY」の開催地としても知られています。

本イベントをキュレーションするのは、東京と大阪を拠点に活動するDJ／オーガナイザー ALTF4。ブラックメタルとテクノを融合させたアートユニット VMO（Violent Magic Orchestra） の東京公演にも出演し、アンビエント、ミニマルテクノ、ディコンストラクテッド・クラブ、トランスを行き来する、エモーショナルかつ強度のあるセットを展開します。

フューチャリスティックなサウンドとベースミュージックを基軸とする唯一無二のプレイが特徴。
