After a memorable introduction, Metro Al Madina welcomes back Frequent Defect for another one-night showcase of its Grime and Punishment series.
This time alongside junior x DAO, Willilah, Try Harder, Mocques, Carla Lover and Afram, coming together for a solid eleven hours of bass werks.
Celebrating music as cultural phenomena, this series reveres the weird cornucopia that is grime, the grubby energy of UK garage, and the more recent revival in the regional sphere. Perceived as a direct untainted and reactive reflection of modern societies and cultures, we're keen to hear what the commentary on the present situation will be. Expect trap, grime, bass, jungle, hip hop, rap, footwork, limb work and all kinds of work.
