On the final day of the month, our basement is handed over to XYZ, a collective of seasoned local diamonds rooted in Amsterdam club culture. The crew consists out of Vic Crezee from Patta Soundsystem, Max B and Mr. Wix, who invite Wes Lee and KC The Funkaholic to let us meet with their shared vision of boundary-pushing music and cultural relevance. A night that has hip-hop culture as the back bone of their sound, but with individual tastes that hold connections to soul, house and left field electronics.
