Biodiversity 001 - Joe (Hessle Audio/Hemlock), blu.dream

After a packed launch party at Holding Patterns, Biodiversity launches as a fully-fledged club night and fundraiser at Wharf Chambers. Join us for a night of rhythm and community as we celebrate the many ecosystems of the underground. This time, we’re raising funds for the Forest Peoples Programme, supporting Indigenous communities protecting their lands from deforestation and development.

Headlining is Joe (Hessle Audio/Hemlock) — a true pioneer whose playful, genre-bending productions have become landmarks in club music over the past 15 years. A revered and elusive figure, he has built up such respect that every release is a seismic event in itself, and you can still regularly hear his classics played in clubs across the country every weekend. Underrated as a DJ, his sets are alive with curiosity and colour, mirroring the diversity we champion on our dancefloor.

Warming up is Leeds’ own blu.dream, weaving dubby textures and deep rhythms into a soundscape that will perfectly compliment our headliner. Having built up a reputation as an excellent selector through playing at parties across the North such as gut level & love muscle, there is nobody better to get the dance going and ease us into the night.

Expect deep grooves, sharp turns, and pure dancefloor joy — all in the name of biodiversity.
