Moxy Muzik brings proper Boxing Day business to Joshua Brooks, Manchester on Friday 26th December with Darius Syrossian at the helm.

While everyone else is nursing hangovers and arguing over leftovers, the Moxy Muzik crew have other plans.

Syrossian's Joshua Brooks residency has become Manchester's essential underground gathering – no frills, no fuss, just impeccable house and techno delivered by someone who's been doing this since before most of you were born. From his days slinging vinyl in Manchester record shops to commanding the decks at DC10 and Space Ibiza, Darius operates on one wavelength: the music comes first.

Boxing Day at Joshua Brooks has become tradition for those who know. That basement, that VOID Acoustics system, and Syrossian's signature blend of deep house, minimal, techno and UK garage – it's the antidote to Christmas excess.
