ELIXIR: Launch Night | Thursday, January 15th

We’re kicking things off with a heavy emphasis on selection and performance. In the Main Room, Ian Llorens takes the controls at 11PM, delivering a vinyl-heavy set of deep grooves designed to keep the floor moving.
Meanwhile, The Parlor will be hosting Krane, who will be digging deep into a specialized blend of downtempo, house, and eclectic grooves. This is a night for the LA underground culture, focusing strictly on high-quality output and the raw energy of the music at The Monty.
Resident djs get you going at 8pm on the floor, and 10pm in the Parlor.

ELIXIR is a two-room takeover designed for the city’s creative core who value a high-fidelity environment without the pretension. We’ve carved out a sanctuary at The Monty Bar where the lighting is low, the cocktails are precise, and the sound is curated for those who know the difference.

The Main Room serves as the night's engine, leaning heavily into the warm, driving foundations of 90s Chicago House, Deep House, UK Garage, and funky, stripped-back minimal tech. Across the hall, The Parlor, offers a deeper, more eclectic environment. It’s a space for leftfield exploration, moving through Acid Jazz, Trip-Hop, classic House, Acid House and other rarities not often played out; it's a nod to the warehouse culture that defined the underground.

While the format remains centered on the warmth of vinyl, the focus is simply on the groove. ELIXIR is about high-quality selectors and heavy grooves. It’s an authentic vinyl-driven environment where the focus remains strictly on the output of both rooms and the culture that supports it.
