Machine Club: Lando, Stacy Christine, Rodney

This month Machine Club falls on the SECOND Thursday of the month and we're bringing in the BFGs for Stacy Christine's Birthday: Rodney and Lando!

Rodney has been DJing for 15+ years, coming up in the San Francisco scene under the mentorship of the legendary Tyrell Williams. A devoted vinyl selector, he worked at iconic SF record shops Vinyl Dreams and RS94109. Now a staple of the LA underground for the past 7 years, Rodney is a co-founder of Elbow Grease with Dave Aju and a contributor to projects like The Black Lodge crew and Immortal Sin. Catch him behind the decks at events across LA or on his bi-monthly Mutant Radio-Tbilisi show, The Rodzo.

Antaeus Roy aka Lando, a Berlin-based producer and DJ whose sound bridges eras and cities from Sacramento to San Francisco, New York to Berlin, for nearly two decades he’s been crafting rhythm-driven worlds of groove within early jack house, techno, wave, new beat, and 80s-industrial pulse. A founding half of Lazer Sword and a shapeshifter under monikers like Lando Kal, his releases have landed on, Numbers, Rush Hour, Hotflush, Ultramajic, Mistress, his own Myth Music imprint and beyond. His 80s hardware gear-leaning aesthetic and vintage futurist touch have resonated across global dancefloors from a two year Tresor residency, to Berghain, Melt, Dimensions, Trouw, Fabric, Space and the likes of. With a sound equal parts retro grit and magnetic momentum, Antaeus Roy continues to evolve, keeping bodies moving and minds orbiting somewhere between nostalgia and the next night out.
