What’s that sound?

Hotplate 003 is just around the corner and coming in extremely warm. An extended and expansive day market during the day will turn into a blistering dance party ‘til late featuring none other than Aldonna.

From 12pm on Saturday the 20th of December, the alley and all three levels of Solace will transform into a digger’s delight and much more. Dozens of crates of records, racks of clothing, art, jewellery, prints, food and drink; all from the community, for the community. The soundtracking for the market will be brought to you by the enigmatic and energetic duo, Midnight Boil.

Once the market closes at 5pm, the music won’t stop for anything - rolling over until the wee hours of the morning. Laid-back and groovy tracks downstairs in the bar supporting the fun and upbeat cuts upstairs; expect floorboards to bounce but needles to sit steady. Records will be slung upstairs by none other than Hannah D, Tangela and Aldonna; they’ll be lifting spirits and the roof.
