𝐌𝐞𝐳𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞, Miscellania’s trip hop and downtempo lounge returns with a headline show and album launch for 𝑻𝙖𝒌𝙚𝒐.𝑲.

Marking their third Mezzanine appearance, Takeo.K returns as live performer and curator, inviting a selection of live acts and DJs to celebrate their debut album, “𝐻𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝐼𝑠 𝐸𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑁𝑜𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑡 𝑂𝑛𝑐𝑒“.
Takeo.K’s anticipated debut album is a strikingly patient release of intimate vocals, shimmering guitar and gauzy electronics floating hazily in the grey area between shoegaze, dub, and downtempo. Released on Theory Therapy, the record threads together a suite of songs that drift through questions of loss, identity, displacement, inquiring into the universal through the personal.

Live sets from algorave diva 𝑵𝒖̄ and cloud ambient troubadour 𝒀𝒖𝒏𝒛𝒆𝒓𝒐; with DJ sets from dub siren 𝒀𝑳 𝑯𝒐𝒐𝒊, the vibrant and uncanny 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒆, Hysterical Love Project’s 𝑰𝒌𝒆 𝒁𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒌𝒌𝒆𝒏, sound sculptor 𝑶𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑱𝒐𝒆 and a closing set from the inimitables 𝑬𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒚𝒏𝒆 𝒃2𝒃 𝑫𝑱 𝑴𝒖𝒎.
