DJKL is a master of propulsive and vivid psychedelia, a genre hopping expert - leftfield strands of house, techno from the American midwest; freaky breaks; all kinds of old and new dance music played with an irrepressible punk sensibility. Mexico-born, NYC-based 𝑨𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒂 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒕 returns to naarm after a stellar set at a Paper-Cuts and Soma Festival last year -- a quietly titanic selector. Her sets are marked by a graceful unpredictability, floating like a hummingbird across trip-hop, techno, trance, house, nimble jungle, and beyond; tied together with cheeky ear, warm basslines and rudeboy type flair.
