Murmurations 002 presents: Om Unit (Acid Dub Studies)

Om Unit (Jim Coles) is a London-based producer celebrated for his boundary-pushing approach to electronic music. His work moves fluidly across jungle, footwork, electro, dubstep, and cinematic sound design, unified by a deep sense of experimentation and rhythmic intention.

For Murmurations 002, we return to Sub Club Melbourne, continuing our focus on intentional listening paired with gentle movement. Om Unit will present his Acid Dub Studies project live, positioned in the centre of the dancefloor, inviting an up-close and immersive experience.

Acid Dub Studies is a critically acclaimed series spanning multiple releases, where classic Jamaican dub, techno, and psychedelic atmospheres intertwine with the unmistakable squelch of the Roland TB-303. The result is a hypnotic, genre-blurring journey of deep echoes and minimalist grooves, inspired by Om Unit’s introspective walks through Bristol, UK.
