CK pres: Al Jones, Shanda, Espen Cook

We are super excited to be back at Eaton / Terrible Baby for a special night bringing together international and local guests. From Norway to Hong Kong and Tokyo, with echoes of Milan and Jamaica this is a meeting of both international and regional talents.

Expect a wide and versatile journey across the electronic music spectrum, moving from slow-burning house to raw, hypnotic techno. A night shaped by flow, mutual respect and shared energy on the dancefloor. Join us for this very special night in the heart of Kowloon.

Al Jones (MOVE ムーブ)

Born in Milan, the Italian-British-Jamaican artist based in Tokyo, has been on the scene since 2006 and delivering hot vibes since the very beginning of his career. An enthusiastic lover and collector of vinyls. Currently based in Tokyo, he has launched in 2022 a collective and monthly event named MOVE ムーブ. Thanks to his mixed background, as well as his constant globetrotting, Al always brings a varied style to the dancefloor, touching several House and Electronic music’s different facets

Shanda (ABYSS)

Hong Kong born, based in Berlin, Shanda is a DJ, producer, and co-founder of Techno collective ABYSS (HK). With her classical music background as a flutist, she has quickly established her place in the Hong Kong underground scene. In pursuit of musical inspiration and further development of her artistic career, Shanda relocated to Berlin, Germany in 2023. She quickly gained recognition in esteemed Berlin clubs, including Tresor, RSO, Else, Club Ost, Renate, and more. With a solid foundation in music production, she’s now carving her path as a producer.

Her sound is versatile but centres around hypnotic raw techno with a playful groove, incorporating organic sounds of nature and unexpected rhythmic twists featuring breakbeat techno and trance that bring surprises to her audience.

Espen Cook (CK)

Club Kowloon co-founder together with Jørgen Sevild, Espen Cook is an artist, DJ and designer from Bergen, Norway. His sets blend trippy, groovy rhythms with warm, ambient, and experimental soundscapes (hypnotic yet precise). Active since 2013, Cook has brought his sound to clubs and festivals such as Sónar (HK), Shi Fu Miz (HK), Vill Vill Vest (NO), Clockenflap (HK), Bonobo (JP), OIL Club (SZ), Social Room (HK), Cassio (HK), XXX (HK), Salon 10 (HK), Oma (HK), Gazette Club (RO), Landmark Bergen (NO), Østre (NO), and BLÅ (OSL).
