The Amsterdam-based DJ and producer Caim surprises every time with rare finds from the nineties and noughties, from techno to trance and from breakbeat to house. With residencies at Mood, The Tribe and Breakfast Club, and while running his own label Lonely Planets Records, Mark Peeters is known for his notoriously deep and long (after-hours) sets. In the studio, Caim produces organic techno and stripped-down house with a touch of trance.

In 2022, a chance meeting en route to the club sparked a connection that would evolve into an unfaltering exchange of music, ideas, and philosophies about what a night out can hold. Though accomplished selectors in their own right, enzyme is an ode to this ongoing dialogue and serves as a platform for their collaborative musical exploration.

Guided by a desire to inspire presence and reverence for the dancefloor as a site for community, care and connection, suz eq and maxi.milian put their unmistakable chemistry to work behind the decks, inviting anyone on the fence to reconsider the value of time spent gathering, moving and engaging with each other.

enzyme’s sets span many genres characteristic of each individual’s sound, while paying homage to their sizeable overlap in taste. The duo’s obsession with deep, driving basslines and unique musical elements is evident in their selections.
