YUTA (Liquid Drop Groove, Tokyo)

DJ / Label founder / Organizer / Curator in Tokyo.

After 10 years in trance scene and numerous achievements, YUTA shifted his focus to techno in 2015 and launched Liquid Drop Groove in 2016, releasing music across digital and vinyl formats, as well as podcasts and video streams.
In addition, he has taken a multifaceted approach to maximizing the label’s potential, including memorable parties such as Agaitida Festival (Okinawa), Bassiani Tokyo collaboration series with overseas labels, and co-hosted events with DJ Nobu. Countless past projects span a broad spectrum.

While continuing to produce and release music, and actively joining podcasts and video streaming platforms across various regions, YUTA’s main focus remains DJing, as a resident DJ at Tokyo’s well-known VENT club. Rooted in techno, his sound moves fluidly between mental, hypnotic, and tribal elements, occasionally drifting into break-driven structures or acid textures. His sets are defined by a psychedelic groove and cinematic flow, shaped freely and intuitively in the moment.

In recent years, YUTA has toured extensively across Asia, performing at Wonderfruit at Quarry Stage in Thailand, the cave festival Retreat in Vietnam, he regularly tours clubs in Vietnam, Hong Kong, South Korea, and China. In Europe, he has appeared including at Essaim, Gare, and KHIDI etc, as well as major festivals such as OZORA in Hungary, and Modem in Croatia. In Japan, rural, Moment, and DJ Nobu’s legendary Future Terror. His next chapter now unfolds in Colombia, South America.

Jimmy Chan (Roman Techno, Hong Kong)
After moving to Hong Kong from Japan in 2006, Jimmy Chan started his DJ career here. With passion for Jazz, House, Hip Hop and Techno, he mixes wide range of music suited for the atmosphere of dance floors. In any type of party including "Roman-Techno" which he and his friends organize at Oma, you can always expect happy and groovy vibes with his sound.

Marco Yu (TRI, Hong Kong)
With a versatile style that spans from techno to house, Marco captivates audiences with his dynamic and ever-evolving soundscapes, as well as live performances with modular synthesisers. At the core of Marco's artistic expression lies his deep-rooted belief in the power of electronic music. He translates his thoughts through his production work with modular synthesisers. In addition, Marco’s event series concept, TRI, takes partygoers to the edge of sonic exploration, creating an atmosphere that challenges conventional music.
