Currrent Afffairs

Organised by TimeLab in collaboration with students from Catalyst and the New Media Design Master’s Programme at University of Europe for Applied Sciences – A&D.

Currrent Afffairs invites audiences into an evening of shifting ecologies, fluid soundscapes and immersive media. Under the theme “Techno Sensoriums + Perceptual Ecologies” the works open alternative spaces of memory, rhythm and interspecies intelligence, blending digital systems with organic processes to shift human perception.

Across Catalyst's spaces, hybrid installations and VR worlds unfold through spatial sound, real-time audiovisual systems and interactive environments. Mixed teams of sound artists and media designers transform the location into a multi-sensory landscape where boundaries dissolve.

Live performances throughout the evening expand on these sensorial and ecological themes.
