Juliana X ist in Brasilien geboren, in Friesland aufgewachsen und lebt seit 2020 in Rotterdam. In ihrem Schaffen verbindet sie kulturelle Wurzeln, Community-Arbeit und künstlerischen Ausdruck. Musikalisch ist sie von Chicago-House und Detroit-Techno geprägt: Acid-Lines, treibende Bassfundamente und Ghetto-House- und Diva-Vocals halten ihren Stil roh und emotional. Mit ihrer Plattform Kult Funktion fördert sie LGBTQI+, BIPoC und weibliche Künstler:innen und prägt dadurch die queere House- und Techno-Szene Rotterdams. Ende Oktober eröffnete sie als Support die Premiere von PRAISE, einer Kooperation von Honey Dijon und dem ZO! Gospel Choir während der ADE. Was liegt also näher, als Juliana X zu dieser neuen Ausgabe von Honey Dijons Party in der Panorama Bar einzuladen? Jack your body to the beat!

Juliana X was born in Brazil, grew up in Friesland, and has been living in Rotterdam since 2020. Her work combines cultural roots, community work and artistic expression. Musically, she is influenced by Chicago house and Detroit techno: acid lines, driving bass foundations and goddessing vocals with a ghetto-house touch are what keeps her style raw and emotional. Her platform Kult Funktion has helped shape Rotterdam's queer house and techno scene by promoting LGBTQI+, BIPOC and female artists. In October, she was the opener for the premiere of PRAISE, a collaboration between Honey Dijon and the ZO! Gospel Choir during ADE. So what could be more logical than bringing Juliana X to this edition of Honey Dijon's club night at Panorama Bar? Jack your body to the beat!
