Curator of this evening and known for his techno robots and viral inventions (rotating seashells, Pop-corns drums, and everything that can be motorized to make beats?) plays nothing less than one of his colorful robot techno shows.

Straight from Leipzig, new-to-the-game modular synth aficionado presents her vision of Modular Techno.

Cologne Artvibe Supergroup present their FIRST PERFORMANCE EVER - how cool is that? After roaming in the digital spheres with millions of clicks in the last years we are extremely proud to present the first physical manifestation. Expect Touchdesigner driven cyberpunk aesthetics or ping pong paddles with attached synth patches? We also don't know what they are planning but it will be AWESOME.

CARL AHNER x DER SONIFIKATOR (Exhibit)
The Sonifikator is an interactive device that transforms the visual, formal, and material properties of objects into sound in real time. It is based on the idea that things — just as they have an appearance — might also possess an imaginary sound. Through a sensory system, data on shape, color, material, and texture are captured, analyzed, and translated into an acoustic atmosphere using generative sound design. It makes hidden qualities audible, opening new ways of perceiving and relating to objects. The project bridges design, art, and research, operating at the intersection of synesthesia, atmospheric aesthetics, and sound design.
