Berlin-based Nils Hoffmann has been shaped by Germany’s electronic music scene.
Classically trained as a pianist, he soon turned his focus to melodic and progressive house, drawing inspiration from artists such as Paul Kalkbrenner and Trentemøller. Today, the 29-year-old producer is enjoying strong momentum, with extensive airplay on the BBC, remixes for artists including ODESZA, and shows around the world — among them Tomorrowland and support slots for Maceo Plex, Ben Böhmer, Gorgon City, Stephan Bodzin, and Tiga.
Hoffmann is now releasing his third album, Everlight, out on his own label of the same name. On March 14 he will take the decks at Hotel Cecil.
