On Saturday, January 17, The Remix returns to Sigurd CPH. A club concept built around celebrating the art and culture of remixing, The Remix looks beyond genres and into the creative act itself. Remixing isn’t just about reworking tracks, it’s about keeping music alive, relevant, and constantly evolving. At Sigurd CPH, we celebrate the remix as a cultural force that continues to push club music forward.
This edition brings together selectors who treat the booth as a space for exploration, connection, and movement.
La Vida De Jaime
Hailing from Málaga, Spain, La Vida De Jaime delivers sets that move freely across time and geography. His sound blends disco, house, funk, and a strong hip hop backbone, jumping effortlessly from Kendrick Lamar to Donna Summer, from 70s afrobeat to Chicago house and 2000s hip hop classics. Influenced by artists like Kaytranada, Folamour, The Neptunes, and Kanye West, his sets are playful, groove-driven, and always centered on the dance floor. With appearances at major festivals, fashion events, and clubs across Europe and the US, La Vida De Jaime brings a global club perspective rooted in rhythm and joy.
SELMA
SELMA is a Copenhagen-based DJ and artist with a deep love for rhythm, movement, and musical fusion. Her sets draw from afrobeat, soul, hip hop, house, and RnB, always tailored to the energy of the room. Known for her original edits and unexpected selections, she brings a vibrant and dynamic presence behind the decks. Whether in the club or the studio, SELMA’s focus is clear: music that makes people move and connect.
DJ Ary
Known to many as a long-standing tour DJ within Danish hip hop, DJ Ary also explores a deeper, more personal side through his house-driven project. Blending dubby house and dance rhythms with Persian musical influences, his sets bridge past and present, club culture and personal history. With years of experience on major stages and a sharp ear for groove, DJ Ary brings both weight and intimacy to the floor.
