The Middlesbrough Empire
Veta 2026 is an underground electronic music festival set in a former mining site in Barruelo de Santullán, northern Spain. After a sold-out first edition, the festival returns with a carefully curated programme focused on techno, live performances, and exploratory electronic music.
Veta brings together internationally respected artists and national talent, combining DJ sets and live acts that move beyond techno as a single form, embracing deep, mental, broken and experimental approaches to club music. Sound design and technical precision are central to the experience, with a strong focus on immersive audio and lighting that respect the industrial and natural surroundings.
More than a music event, Veta is a community-driven project rooted in local collaboration, sustainability and cultural context. The festival integrates the landscape, the mining heritage of the area, and the collective energy of artists and dancers into a shared experience.
Veta 2026 continues to grow with intention, expanding its programme while preserving its underground spirit and intimate scale.
We work as one mind, we dance as one body.
