FINE AT 50

About

Any event that brings community together is a special thing. For this event we celebrate not only the turning of 50th birthday for our lovely crew member Jon but also the wider community around.

Entry is via a suggested donation ticket. On entry the ticket will be exchanged for a drink token for a selected drink as thanks (effectively covering the cost of your ticket). If you wish to donate more than £5, please do not buy multiple tickets for 1 person, go for Option 2 Donation instead, to ensure everyone who wants to come can get a ticket.

Should you not be able to afford entry please get in touch so we can ensure a place is made available for you.

All funds raised from entry (not just profit) will be used to further community tickets, grass roots promotion and venues specifically within the community that surrounds the DBA to ensure affordable events and sustainable access to such in the next 12 months......... paying it forward for all.

After the event, totals raised and the beneficiaries will be shared.

All the DJs and promotors playing as well as helping at the event have freely given their time to bring this party to you.

IT IS VITALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU UNDERSTAND WHEN ATTENDING THAT THE DBA IS FIRST AND FORMOST A QUEER SPACE. WHILE ALL ARE WELCOME PLEASE UNDERSTAND AND RESPECT THIS, THERE WILL BE A ZERO TOLERANCE APPROACH TO ANY FOR OF HARASSMENT OR DISCRIMINATION AT THIS EVENT. (PLEASE READ FURTHER BELOW)

The DBA is a space for genuine lovers of music, those with pure intentions to positively contribute to the community, through dancing, caring for one another, and making everybody (regulars and new faces alike) feel accepted, welcome, and safe.

Please feel free to bring a backpack with food, fruit and snacks to keep yourself well nourished throughout the event.
