Lee Burridge: Free From Sleep Manchester

About

Lee Burridge returns to Manchester's underground for a rare intimate session at Joshua Brooks on 20th December. The All Day I Dream founder and Burning Man sunrise legend brings his signature melodic journey to the Northern Quarter's most authentic basement space.

Before creating the global organic house movement, Burridge built UK underground credibility through his legendary Tyrant residency at Fabric with Craig Richards. His Global Underground mix series and BBC Essential Mixes became blueprints for emotional electronic storytelling. After conquering Robot Heart at Burning Man and establishing his All Day I Dream parties across 60+ cities, he's back in the intimate UK venues where it began.

Joshua Brooks' low ceilings and heavyweight sound system create perfect conditions for Burridge's trademark "rollercoaster ride" philosophy. Operating in that 120-130 BPM sweet spot, expect deep melodic textures, wonky basslines, and the kind of emotional archaeology that makes seasoned ravers lose it at sunrise.

No laptops, no sync buttons - just vinyl and CDJs wielded by someone who's been perfecting the craft since 1983.
Free From Sleep's 4pm-10pm slot isn't random - it's prime All Day I Dream territory where daylight fades and collective energy builds. The venue's raw industrial atmosphere meets Manchester crowds who understand house music's deeper purpose.

Support acts still to be announced. Limited capacity in JB's basement means this sells out. Heads know.
