AkvaWaves & Selecta! pres.: MPH

On February 21, thanks to AkvaWaves and Selecta!, you can finally catch MPH live, an artist who has become one of the most influential figures in the new wave of UK garage in recent years. Nuvolve, Kiwi Rekords, Night Bass, Spinnin, Crucast… he’s essentially made his mark on every relevant label. His strong collaborations include Chris Lake, Kelly Lee Owens, Gentlemens Club, and Habstrakt, and his new album, Substance, will debut live on the Akvárium stage.

It’s no coincidence there’s so much hype around him. MPH has conquered some of the world’s biggest stages: after Glastonbury, Coachella, Boomtown, Parklife, and other major festivals, he’s completed several sold-out U.S. tours.

The scene loves him too: Skream, Sammy Virji, Disclosure, Floating Points, Chris Lorenzo, and Chris Lake all support him. With a steadily growing international audience and his fresh, distinctive sound, MPH has now become one of the key artists shaping the next era of the garage genre.

For the night, local UKG standouts DOMA, Quera, and Gemcamp from the Selecta! collective will be providing support.
