Rhodri Davis, a Welsh harpist and composer who has been active in the UK free improv scene since the 1990s, will come to Japan and perform with Akio Suzuki, a legendary sound artist whom he admires.
Rhodri Davis is an incomparable presence who has been active in a variety of fields, including original harp solos, co-stars and collaborations with a wide variety of musicians such as John Butcher, Derek Bailey, Yoshihide Otomo, David Toope, Eliane La Digue, Yasunao Tone, Mieko Shiomi, and David Sylvian, as well as installations using the harp and restoration of period instruments (harps).
