MOLDIVE - Khotin

Khotin is the recording project of Edmonton, Canada-based electronic artist Dylan
Khotin-Foote. Over the last decade, the producer has drifted freely between genre
experiments, every move linked by distinct melodic and impressionistic sensibility. His
dance-leaning output, marked by years of involvement in Vancouver's underground
landscape, is both offset and informed by a deep interest in downtempo sound, the
mood of stillness, the melancholy after the club. Mostly known for his melodic and dreamy productions, Khotin can be an enigma in his DJ sets, with wide-ranging and eclectic selections that keep the dance floor on its toes. He has performed at festivals and venues such as MUTEK (Montreal), Making Time Festival (Philadelphia), Tresor (Berlin), Printworks (London), Public Records (NYC), Mitsuki (Tokyo), Circus (Osaka), Bar Part Time (San Francisco), Paradise (Vancouver).

大阪中崎町の高架下Club NOONで開催されている"MOLDIVE"のレジデントDJs。10代から夜な夜な共に遊び、2013年に "MOLDIVE"をスタート。
2000年代大阪のパーティカルチャーとBerlinやNYなど世界各地で体験したフリーキーなパーティーシーンに影響を受けた彼らは、スペーシーなテクノ、サイケデリックなディスコ、ネジの外れたハウスを片手に予想を超えるハプニングを追い求め、独自のパーティ感と自由度の高いダンスフロアを作り上げている。

Kaito and g'n'b are the resident DJs of "MOLDIVE" held at Club NOON under the elevated railway tracks in Nakazaki-cho, Osaka.
Since their teens, they have been hanging around together night after night, and then, set up their own playground named "MOLDIVE" in 2013.
Influenced by the underground party culture of Osaka in the 2000s and freaky party scenes they experienced around the world like Berlin and New York, they have been seeking surprising plot twists by sprinkling spaced-out techno, psychedelic disco and screw-loose house, have created their own unique party atmosphere and dance floor filled with a lot of flexibility.
