Alam Rahsia
Over & Above KL
TEKKA is Kuala Lumpur’s platform for audiovisual culture, a space where sound, light, and systems converge. Rooted in Malaysia and connected to global frequencies, TEKKA invites audiences into a living interface where art, technology, and the human signal meet.
Over three days, the festival transforms klpac into a playground of sonic exploration and digital artistry. The debut edition features live audiovisual performances, workshops, and conversations led by visionary creators from across Asia, including Malaysia’s euseng seto, Cerikapak, rEmPiT g0dDe$$, Vasflow, Angqasa, Taiwan’s Chang Hsin Yu, Huang Wei, whereischappie, Myanmar’s LnHD, and Japan’s Toru Izumida. Workshops will be led by TouchDesigner specialists Ben Voigt and Yea.
This inaugural edition marks a new chapter for the city’s creative landscape, a dialogue between the tactile and the virtual, rhythm and reflection. Whether you’re discovering audiovisual art for the first time or are already part of the scene, TEKKA invites you to experience how sound and image can move, shift, and reimagine the world around us.
The festival is presented by RHIZO in collaboration with klpac, with support from ArtsFAS, Yayasan Hasanah, The Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur, Chirpybird, National Culture & Arts Foundation (Taiwan), Blackbody Emission and Derivative, with Fluid Noise as programme partner. TEKKA also marks the finale of klpac’s 20th anniversary series.
