From melancholic techno to orchestral pop ballads: Berlin-based producer, composer and performer Sascha Ring – better known as APPARAT – strives to transcend both the dance floor and the concert hall. His work as a solo producer, but also as part of Moderat, always has a common denominator: elegant and nuanced layers, reinforced by melodies that linger in the memory.

Six years after his Grammy-nominated “LP5”, a new album and tour with a live band are planned for early 2026. On “A Hum Of Maybe”, APPARAT further expands his signature mix of modular textures, complex electronica and unmistakable vocals.
