As the founder of the seminal Ganja Records and the iconic True Playaz (later Playaz) label empire, Hype has been instrumental in shaping the sound of D&B for decades. As the head of the Playaz brand, 2026 marks the 30th anniversary of his pioneering label.
Known for his crowd-pleasing, high-energy jump-up sets and a relentless commitment to "Real Vibes," he continues to electrify dancefloors worldwide, proving that after 3 decades, the Hype is still very much real.

DJ HAZARD
Birmingham (UK)-based DJ Hazard is known for his hard-hitting jump-up style and relentless energy, with production skills that quickly caught the ear of the scene's elite.
He became a core member of the Playaz Recordings family, with early, seminal releases on Ganja and True Playaz. Tracks like the iconic 'Mr Happy' (with D*Minds) became instant, unforgettable dancefloor anthems, rattling around in heads long after the party was over. With a knack for crafting bassline bombs that demand movement, DJ Hazard continues to dominate the sound system, ensuring every set is a masterclass in pure, unadulterated D&B energy.

TYKE
A graffiti rebel turned drum & bass sensation, his bold style and relentless energy dominate the scene. Signed to Playaz, Grid Recordings, and founder of Paradigm Music, Tyke's influence in D&B is unmatched. Supported by legends like Andy C, his tracks hit hard and deep, blending analog warmth with cutting-edge production.
With playful alter egos and tracks like ‘Infected Headphones’, he's hailed as The Godfather of The Fogforn by Noisia. With backing from top DJs worldwide, Tyke is set to rule the dancefloor for years to come.

INJA
The massively versatile artist with a love for cooking and wordplay. Known for hyping crowds across any and every style of music from jazz to drum and bass, and everything inbetween! When solo, Inja provides the ‘Page to a Rave’ show where anything goes from poetry, reggae, hiphop, grime, drum and bass and anything that brings vibes. The show is known for bass tears, laughter dancing and smiles.
As well as running creative writing workshops, he hosts for the DMC World
Championships.
A resident host to Warning and Hospitality drum and bass events across the UK and EU, you may also see Inja at a wide variety of poetry and music events and festivals across the UK and worldwide, working with a huge range of beautiful music bringing a smile to your face and some bass to your cheeks!

MC Ell Gee
An artist from Salisbury, UK, with many different talents in many different genres of music. Since learning to play the guitar at eight years old he knew music was in his blood. Now becoming an established and respected MC, Ell Gee has hosted raves at many venues across his home country, across Europe and has even taken charge of microphone duties throughout Thailand and beyond. While pushing his career in the drum and bass industry, Ell Gee has also recorded some single releases, including 'Dem' - working alongside jump-up heavyweight Jayline. JJBKK is proud to welcome Ell back to Bangkok and he will also be rolling with the crew at dnbAllstars in Phuket later in the month.
