Mercury Over Maps #23 presents three sets of experimental and improvised music. The programme
features a solo performance by Mandhira de Saram (violin and electronics), a duo by John McGrath
(guitar and electronics) and Benedict Taylor (viola), and a trio of Regan Bowering (percussion and
electronics), Rachel Musson (saxophone) and Bill Thompson (no-input guitar pedals). Curated by
composer and performer Bill Thompson, Mercury Over Maps is a concert series dedicated to
exploratory music practices and has been running since 2017, presenting emerging and established
musicians from the UK and beyond
