BODYWERK: werk hard, love harder

In just two shows, BODYWERK has established itself as a staple Baltimore party amongst the booty shakers across the DMV. This edition will be a special moment as we celebrate Black love in all its forms for Valentines Day. As always, ILUSM welcomes a host of local headliners guaranteed to keep you moving all night long. And if you need a break from the heat of the dance floor, we have the Lovers Lounge: a downtempo room dedicated to soulful r&b, deep house, hot chocolate, valentine making, and more cute activities for lovers and friends alike. We have been absolutely hot and bothered— beyond excited to announce the lineup for BODYWERK 3, which features four B2Bs from Baltimores absolute finest:

S.DOT and Kade Young will be showing off their incredible track selection and dynamic synergy as a long-standing duo.

Baltimore icons Tromac and Nomiii are showcasing their love on the decks as well, with a B2B that will have us all feeling sexy, sweaty, and ready to connect on the dance floor.

Girlypop Princess and Nanagotchi are known as the major trailblazers behind Digital Xscape- Baltimore premiere dance event. Their set will be a love letter to all those with a true PLUR soul- a B2B packed with bass, hard rhythm, and gritty vocal chops.

YesterdayNeverHappened and Subwoof burst into the Baltimore dance scene late last year and have been booked and busy ever since. This sweet duo have dedicated themselves to curating a heart racing dance floor for booty bouncers all over the world, and we are so happy to have them for their first BODYWERK.

Coming in HOT, we have our solo sets by Koh, Annamae, and ILUSM. Years of polishing their craft has led Koh to being a peerless selector and an essential pillar of DC nightlife.

Annamae will get us in the move for love with their sultry voice, and we have a very special performance from them in the works- so this is certainly not a show to miss.

Leading our solo sets and curating the evening is ILUSM, an up and coming DJ known for his eclectic track selection and dedication to smooth blends.

BODYWERK is a celebration of Black love in all its forms. Bring the people who have made you feel held, bring yout crush, or come and find new love on the dance floor. Just come as you are and be ready to dance. BODYWERK 3 will be bigger, hotter, and cuntier than ever. See you there!

This year Valentines Day falls on a Saturday, and what a more lovely and special way to celebrate at a function with some of our favorite lovers, with ILUSM. Body Werk is back at The Compound for another beat happening party, with a DMV locals only line up. Let the love bug bite you and bring the energy to the space for a night of incredible music. This event will have 2 rooms:

The Lovers Lounge area, for you to hang out, mingle, talk to an old friend, or meet someone new and connect with each other. Light refreshments and treats will be available for the festivities. As well as crafts for valentines and couches for you to just hang out if you need a break from the dance floor. We'll be spinning in there all the greatest and rarities - slow jams, R&B, soulful lover music and deep house.
