Soundcheck returns for its second edition, exploring selectors whose DJ journeys have followed distinct pathways in their musical explorations. Tracing movement across cities and generations, from Minneapolis and Detroit to Texas and Brooklyn, by way of Somalia, Lebanon, and Syria, the night maps how sound travels, unravels, and reconnects us. These routes converge on the dance floor through dynamic selections spanning house, techno, breakbeat, electro, and Latin & SWANA influences, unfolding as a shared exploration rather than a fixed destination.

Curated by Brooklyn-by-way-of-Metro-Detroit’s ALI IRL, and supported by multi-disciplinary DJs Yasmeenah and L1NH, Soundcheck is a transmission built for heads, dancers, and curious bodies alike.
