NuYo Ritmo presents: Marcel Ruiz, Hangaëlle, Roland Gonzales, Hasa

Straight from New York City, Nuyo Ritmo lands in Toronto for a very special night at Bambi's exploring the roots of dance music along with Marcel Ruiz from Puerto Rico and local support from an extremely talented group of selectors: Hangaëlle, Roland Gonzales and Hasa. Bring your dancing shoes, we'll take care of the rest.

Marcel Ruiz is a DJ from Old San Juan, Puerto Rico based in New York City. Making his Toronto debut, his mixes are heavily influenced by 90's house, funk/disco, and a Caribbean upbringing. He is also the founder of Nuyo Ritmo, aiming to celebrate the intersection of Puerto Rican and Black American contributions to classic NY dance music.

Hangaëlle fuses African club influences with deep, polyrhythmic experimentation. Crafting hypnotizing journeys that target the soul, her versatility transforms any space to feel both intimate and energetic.

A regular of the Toronto scene, Roland Gonzales has touched the whole spectrum of underground music over the past three decades. He's a resident at Community Service Radio and a member of the Assembly Crew, seamlessly blending classic house, techno, and disco.

Hailing from South Korea, Hasa relocated to Toronto in 2024 and quickly became an active figure in the local music scene. Regularly curating his ongoing “Hasa Presents” nights at Bambi’s, his eclectic style, ranging from disco to house and electronic music, creates a unique, immersive experience for club-goers.

We stop taking RSVPs at 6pm on the day of the party. In order to receive the RSVP discount, you must be at the ticket desk by the cutoff time and not just in line. It's wise to arrive early to make sure you're not standing in line when the time comes.

An RSVP does not guarantee entry. Sometimes parties do sell out, so if you want to be sure you'll get in, it's best to grab a ticket in advance.
