『ワード・オブ・エコー』 〜京都のクラブで開催する本と音楽のブックフェス〜 ＜-day2-＞

"Word of Echo" Music Book Festival to be Held in Kyoto
A music-themed book festival will be held at CLUB METRO, a nightclub symbolizing Kyoto's music culture. In addition to the DJs and live music you'd expect to find at a regular club event, the festival will feature a variety of events, including talks on music and books with a stellar lineup, and a "book flea market" where musicians, DJs, music writers, researchers, and other music-related people will bring their books. Music and words will flow back and forth, leading to discoveries and dialogues that differ from those you might encounter when listening to music live or via streaming. Additionally, during the same period, a music book fair will be held in collaboration with a popular bookstore rooted in Kyoto.

tofubeats, who continues to garner support from a wide range of generations thanks to his talent in writing, as well as his solo activities, producing, and providing music for films and TV dramas, will be joining the discussion. Daichi Yamamoto, who is currently touring nine cities including Taiwan and is attracting increasing attention with his new album featuring guest appearances by STUTS and Suzuki Makiko, will be speaking. Sarasa, who has rapidly gained recognition for her R&B-infused songs and successfully completed her largest tour to date in November, will be speaking live. In the blue shirt, a Kyoto-based band that has distinguished itself with its constantly challenging sound and has hosted electronic musician battles with the likes of Haraguchi Sasuke and Hasunuma Shuta, will be DJing and speaking.

京都で開催する音楽のブックフェス「ワード・オブ・エコー」
京都の音楽文化を象徴するナイトクラブ「CLUB METRO」をメイン会場に、音楽をテーマにしたブックフェスが立ち上がります。通常のクラブイベントで行われるDJやライブに、豪華なラインナップによる音楽と本に関するトーク、ミュージシャン・DJ・音楽ライター・研究者など音楽にかかわる人々が蔵書を持ち寄る「本のフリーマーケット」など、様々な企画を加えた盛りだくさんの内容となっています。そこでは音楽と言葉が双方向に行き交い、ライブや配信で音楽を聴くのとは異なる角度の発見と対話が生まれます。さらに同期間に京都の街に根ざした人気書店と連携して開催する音楽本のブックフェアを行います。

ソロ活動からプロデュース、映画・ドラマへの楽曲提供などでの活躍、さらには執筆活動でも才能を発揮し、幅広い層から支持を集め続けるtofubeatsと、台湾を含む9都市を回るツアーを行い、STUTSや鈴木真海子を客演に迎えた新アルバムでますます注目を集めるDaichi Yamamotoはトークで、R&Bのフィーリングをまとった歌で急速に評価を高め、11月に自身最大規模のツアーを成功させたさらさはライブ・トークで、常に挑戦し続けるサウンドで頭角を現わし、原口沙輔や蓮沼執太などを招いた電子音楽家対バン企画を主催するなど京都に根差して活動するin the blue shirtはDJ・トークで参加します。
